    • Using Serber’s method in deriving [H], the origin of the transport amplitudes due to both direct and exchange processes becomes more transparent
    • Note that the same matrix elements were obtained studying the hopping processes of an extra hole in the atomic limit of the half-filled two-band Hubbard model with additional (large) intra-atomic exchange interaction: W. F. Brinkman and T. M. Rice, Phys. Rev. B 2, 1324 (1970). Using Serber’s method in deriving [H], the origin of the transport amplitudes due to both direct and exchange processes becomes more transparent.
