    • The density of nitric acid solution at 20°C was obtained from International Critical Tables III, 1928, 28, and was used for converting the weight percentage concentration to molar concentration in this case. Density (g/mL at 20°C) = 1.26 (42%), 1.34 (55%), and 1.41 (70%). Concentration (M) = 8.4 (42%), 11.7 (55%), and 15.7 (70%).
