The Hakka-concentrated area totals 42 at the county/township administrative level. There are 193 Minnan areas at the county/township level. The Mainlander area is classified as a region with more than 20 percent Mainlander composition. Twenty-one Mainlander areas can be counted at the county/township level across the island.
