According to a simulation conducted by the ASEAN Secretariat, a China-ASEAN FTA will increase ASEAN's exports to China by 48 percent and China's exports to ASEAN by 55.1 percent. Such an FTA will increase China's GDP by 0.3 percent or by US$2.2 billion in absolute term, ASEAN's GDP by 0.9 percent or by US$5.4 billion.
