49. Very high level calculations at the CCSD(T)/extrapolated basis set limit place the silanone 0.35 kcal/mol below the silylene at 0 K. (Martin, J. M. L. J. Phys. Chem. A 1998, 102, 1394) We calculate a value of 1.2 kcal/mol favoring the silylene at 0 K, suggesting that we have an error on the order of 1.5 kcal/mol in our silanone/silylene energy difference.
