    • Nonphotic entrainment of the human circadian pacemaker
    • This a very nice study on blind humans with no melatonin suppression. It was found that some subjects could use social cues to entrain their circadian rhythms to a rest-activity cycle with a period of either 23.8 h or 24 h. The potential effects of light were ruled out in these subjects. The authors conclude that nonphotic cues can have a small but significant affect on synchronization. However, light is still a dominant cue in those that can utilize it.
