Since we assumed that the orientational distribution function of the disk symmetry axis is uniform over solid angle out to some angle ψ [Formula Presented] and zero beyond (with respect to the nematic director), bary can easily be converted into the orientational order parameter S. To facilitate comparison of our results with available data we decided to use the latter in figures and the following discussion.
