    • The clinical term is "ameliotatists." It's a collective name for people of both genders and all sexual orientations who are attracted to amputees, as well as paraplegics and quadriplegics with a variety of clinical diagnoses, and use wheelchairs, and wear braces and casts. Most devotees are white males who are attracted to "single-leg above the knee amputee" women. A related subgroup are called "wannabees." These are non-disabled people who desire to be physically disabled, and often purchase and use mobility aids.
