    • We did not measure the water concentration of the polymerization system under the normal conditions (without added water). However, the concentration of adventitious water in the reaction mixture of a typical living cationic polymerization (handled under dry nitrogen with a three-way stopcock and dry syringes) was reported to be in the range 0.2-0.3 mM.
