    • Two notable exceptions are an article of Freed and Lin [6], which came to the erroneous conclusion that the NA coupling is nonsingular at an intersection, and an article of Wagner [23], who concluded that the adiabatic picture fails at intersections, even as a zeroth-order approximation. We show that this assessment is wrong, too.

    • In general, there may be an additional bounded NA coupling, which varies only slowly with x, whose perturbational treatment is unproblematic.
