Quantitative fluorescence measurements were performed and showed that ∼75 antibodies nonspecifically adsorbed per square micron. It is, however, difficult to obtain an exact count of fibrinogen molecules containing a bound IgG from fluorescence. This is because each fibrinogen contains two binding sites.
