    • In some experiments, higher tensions than those corresponding to pressures of -200 bar were held for long periods of time, despite the fact that the system had already entered the two-phase region. In one a pressure p = -353 ± 20 bar was reached. In another, one single Berthelot run revealed, first, the phase separation between the top 3-MP rich phase and the bottom H/D water rich one and, afterwards, at higher tensions, turbidity (due to strong heterogeneity) in the top phase. This heterogeneity was certainly originated at the diffusion of more 3-MP from the bottom to the upper phase, a process which has an increasing driving force as tension raises. The system only collapsed and relaxed to total equilibrium at a dive inside the metastable 2-phase region as deep as 76 bar of tension.
