11. 3 (0.37 mM) was treated by trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) to make uncomplexed (guest free) form. To chloroform layer was added a solution of 500 μL ammonium thiocyanate (1 M) and vortexed for 2 min and kept for 30 min. Then the chloroform layer was transfered to an NMR tubing.
12. 3 (500 μL). (cereulide/n-butyl ammonium ion=1:2).
13. 3 and the mixture was kept at 5°C for 3 days. The mixture was treated as n-butyl ammonium complex: (cereulide/1,4-diamimoniumbutane ion=1:1).
