8. 2 for 30 min. The flasks were cooled to rt and were inoculated with 3.0 mL of the culture inoculum and incubated at 25°C for 30 days. The fermented rice substrate was fragmented, then extracted with EtOAc (3×800 mL), and the combined EtOAc extracts were filtered and evaporated to yield 1.5 g of crude extract.
