With this term we refer to social service networks that are based on infrastructure related technologies, such as rail, mobile, fixed wire, or cable and frequencies (broadcasting) infrastructures, which are mostly regulated separately by tradition. By infrastructure we refer to a means of transportation of persons, goods, or services.
2. Probably, the same national policy styles also apply to other infrastructure sectors such as gas, electricity, water and waste disposal provisions, but as we do not have enough empirical evidence on these sectors, they are not dealt with here.
