32. In plotting the addition spectrum we have refrained from translating the energies into the experimental gate voltages. They are related through a conversion factor which varies with N and is dependent on the specific device. Since the exact values are not given in ref. [8] and it merely results in an essentially smooth shift (as a function of N) of the energies with respect to each other, we preferred to omit this conversion.
