    • The rise time of the fast component is longer for excitation at 795 nm than for excitation at 801 and 807 nm, while the rise time of the fast component for 766 nm excitation is faster than for 751 and 760 nm excitation. Overlap of the red edge of the H band with the blue edge of the B band along with the finite spectral bandwidth of the excitation pulse makes it impossible to purely excite H or B in this region, and hence, the values of the fast rise time components are intermediate between the values observed for the other excitation wavelengths of H and B.
