    • Polyphenylene dendrimer 8 carrying three PMI chromophores has been minimized by applying the MM+ force field implemented in the program package HyperChem 6.0 of Hypercube Inc. The minimization protocol of this type of molecules has already been described in the literature. Then, the detergent Tween 20 has been optimized separately by using the same method.
