    • The behavior of the N-nitrosoguanidinas is not so simple, since in this discussion we are not taking account of the effect due to the presence of the nitroso group. Its electron-attracting effect stabilizes the negative charges α to the carbonyl, in such a way that the N-nitrosourethanes are more acid than the urethanes (see ref 11 and references therein).
