The materials in this section are based on recent sampling survey completed by the Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research, which received valid responses from 221 management personnel and 513 production workers randomly selected from 161 Taiwan-invested manufacturers in mainland China. These enterprises were sampled according to the investment scales, investment forms, and trade categories of their Parent companies in 1992.
