This paper evaluates an analytic form for "non-resonant" part of the viscosity coefficient as an addition to the usual "resonant" part, for the first time. There was an unresolved dispute over density variation in the velocity strain between Shaing and one of the authors. However, this dispute has no relevance to the present work since a poloidal density variation is not used.
