    • Our initial high hv work, unpublished, but reported in cond-mat/0108044, employed a photon spot size of ≈ 1 mm diameter. The importance of a small spot size was discovered in subsequent exploratory studies made with lower energy resolution on the spectromicroscopy beamline 7.0 at the ALS.
