    • The transmission of s- and p-polarized light is dependent on the tilt angle of the filter. At a tilt angle of ∼15°, s-polarized light is blueshifted ∼0.3 nm more than p-polarized light and the ratio of transmitted s- to p-polarized light is 1:1.3. Both of these differences increase with tilt angle.

    • The experimentally measured filter wavelength shift function fits very well to a third-order polynomial (R > 0.999).

    • We expect the actual feature size to vary from the target feature size due to standard broadening effects in the construction of the SU-8 masters.

    • The measurement was made on a uniform region of the channel. In order to measure % reflectivity, we divide the p-polarized data by the corresponding s-polarized data and a correction factor for polarization dependent transmission effects at the operating tilt angle. The correction factor is the ratio of the intensity of p-polarized light to s-polairzed light in the absence of surface plasmons.
