    • The GCEB has been proven from a set of phenomenologically motivated assumptions [10], eliminating many possible counterexamples. These assumptions, however, are not fundamental. Unlike the GCEB itselt, they require the treatment of entropy as a fluid, which cannot be appropriate at all scales. Moreover, their plausibility is tied to the thermodynamic limit. To avoid confusion, we stress that we will be assuming the GCEB axiomatically. The assumptions and theorems of Ref. [10] do not play any role here.
