If incompressibility is assumed in addition to T = T(ψ) the pressure becomes constant on magnetic surfaces. Therefore, either the equilibrium is static (K=0) or it has isodynamic characteristics [that is, the magnetic field modulus becomes constant on magnetic surfaces as follows from (17)]. For η∥=η⊥ = 0 and nonparallel flows isodynamic-like equilibria were studied in Ref. 12.
