In normal metals, the density of states (one-point correlator) does not have oscillating components and oscillations appear only in higher-order point correlators, such as an energy-level correlation function, see Ref. 8. On the contrary, in superconducting systems oscillations of the average density of states may exist, since in this case the electron-hole symmetry singles out the Fermi energy as a special point of the spectrum. We notice that in superconducting systems the oscillations in the density of states exist not only with the inverse Ehrenfest time, but also with the mean level spacing, see, e.g., A. Altland and MR.
