    • It is illuminating to compare simulations of the Duffing system by the fast and conventional techniques: the results of Fig. 3 took us ∼15 min to simulate with D = 0.02, whereas for the same noise intensity it takes ∼4 days of standard Monte Carlo simulation to obtain comparable statistics close to the boundary of attraction.
