    • note
    • Three separate analyses of variance (ANOVA) were conducted. The first ANOVA indicated that there was no significant difference between the Evolution and The Shape of Life series in the amount of time they dedicated to an individual scientist during an interview [F(1,86) = 0.148, P = 0.70]. The remaining two ANOVA examined the relationship between gender and the amount of time the scientist was interviewed on the air. The results of those analyses are reported in the figure legend.
