    • In order to obtain the correct behavior of Π⊥ for q→ 0, ω=0 (i.e., Π⊥ → 0, no Meissner effect for T>0), we assume that the local fields arising from the link fields are situated in the centers of the links.

    • In fact, the scalar and the transverse modes decouple only at high symmetry points of the Brillouin zone and in the limit vec q → 0. However, at ωn →∞ and ωn=0 the modes decouple for all vec q. Thus the regularization scheme is chosen properly and the assumption ZA=Zφ Z⊥ leads to plausible results which become exact close to TcMF.
