    • Variable-energy positron beam measurement (see Ref. 13), in which an implanted positron energy was varied from 5 to 30 keV, revealed almost constant S values from the near surface to the bulk for oxidized films. This clearly shows that the oxidation proceeded homogeneously throughout the films, possibly due to high oxygen permeability of LDPE at high temperature.
