20. The statistical probability of having two monomer units attached to the same aluminum center is 0.1%. While this number is negligible and we do not observe any cross-linking, we are not able to exclude a limited amount of crosslinking at this point.
21. 3 was treated with the same chloroform/trifluoroacetic acid mixture as the copolymers. No changes in the optical properties before and after this treatment were detected.
