    • We were alerted to the beneficial effects of tris(triazolyl)amine ligands by the observation of accelerating reaction rates (autocatalysis) during their preparation by the copper-catalyzed cycloaddition. Compound 6 was designed based on this observation and is a particularly powerful facilitator of this process. A full account of the development, coordination chemistry, and applications of multidentate triazoles and related ligands will be presented elsewhere.
