20. 4, filtered, and concentrated under reduced pressure to give the crude product which was further purified by column chromatography on silica (50% EtOAc/hexanes) to give the desired lamellarin 19 as a solid (0.17 g, 0.35 mmol, 72%). Spectroscopic data of 19 were identical to those of the compound synthesized by a different approach previously reported in Ref. 17.
