    • The effective rovibrational temperature of a cluster in a molecular beam is (partly) determined by the dissociation energy of the most weakly bound ligand. The stronger the intermolecular bond to this ligand, the more internal energy can be stored in the complex (before cooling through evaporation processes will become effective).
