24. Molecular dynamics simulations of diffusion of interstitial clusters in an alloy performed by N.-V. Doan et al. (2002) showed that a moving cluster was confined between two solute atoms. The cluster escaped via a thermally activated process resulting in the change of the direction of its Burgers vector. Some aspects of this work were previously reported in N.-V. Doan, D.
