    • The power radiated is proportional to a high power of the Kelvin-wave frequency [3]. From Eq. (2) one finds that the power spectrum is sharply pea around a wavelength of order 5 healing lengths. As the spectrumof Kelvin-waves produced in a typical vortex ring collision is also peacked around healing lengths, see Fig. 1, the decay is dominated by this wavelength region.
