According to our preliminary studies on the kinetics for the formation of grating using holographic recording, in addition to the azobenzene grating formed at the beginning of the exposure, a second grating develops at longer times, which is revealing of structural rearrangements occurring inside the stretched film. The nature of these changes is under investigation.
