One of the reviewers has suggested that it is possible that right-handed neutrinos do exist but simply have not yet been detected. Furthermore, if neutrinos are particles with mass, they could not necessarily have well-defined handedness. Anyway, it should be pointed out that right-handed neutrinos would necessarily be sterile in the Standard Model; see R. Buras, D. V. Semikoz, Astroparticle Phys. 2002, 17, 245-261.

A further argument arises from electrodynamics as a circularly polarized wave, corresponding to photons with a helicity ±-1, has the same polarization in any Lorentz frame. However, for a particle with mass, a helicity eigenstate is a linear combination of several helicities when viewed from a different frame. See ref. [10], pp. 130-132, for a detailed discussion.
