    • 15 points used [for Fig. 5 we had to use 0.2 fs and 2 (Ref. 18), respectively, to correctly obtain n(z,t)]. The optical pulse exciting the wire was assumed to be a Gaussian of full width σ=40 fs, with spectral weight centered at the continuum onset for B=0 and F=0 (i.e., hℏω= 1598 meV).
