P, as a measure of the partitioning in the unsaturated regime because the Langmuir parameter is pinned to zero uptake at zero partial pressure, which may be unrealistic given experimental uncertainties. Note that for acetic acid the complications that arise from dimerization in the saturated regime are not present in the unsaturated regime because the calculated fraction of monomers present under these conditions was greater than 98%.
