    • The oxidation enthalpies of graphite powder measured in the present experiment and in the literature (Ref. [15]), are 72 and 93.69 kcal/mol, respectively. So, the measured oxidation enthalpies of Mo and W calibrated by multiplying a factor of 1.3 to them. The lower oxidation enthalpies measured in the present experiment likely result from a heat-take by flowing oxygen gas during the DSC experiment
