Blood 1999; 94:2923-2930. This paper shows that 10 of 18 transplanted patients with host B cells still require immunoglobulin substitution. The engraftment of donor B cells in this condition is not linked to the use of a conditioning regimen.

Cell 2001; 105:177-186. This paper describes the identification and cloning of the gene coding for Artemis. Mutations of this gene are causing T-B-defects in humans associated with increased cellular radiosensitivity.
