    • A new mechanism of action proposed for ramoplanin
    • This article shows that ramoplanin blocks the polymerization of Lipid II in addition to the formation of Lipid II. It was proposed that ramoplanin inhibits bacterial transglycosylases, as well as MurG. Ramoplanin was also shown to bind a soluble Lipid II analogue with unexpected results
