Relationship between obstructive sleep apnoea, driving simulator performance, and risk of road traffic accidents
-
Turkington PM, Sircar M, Allgar V, et al.: Relationship between obstructive sleep apnoea, driving simulator performance, and risk of road traffic accidents. Thorax 2001, 56:800-805. Patients with a 20-minute driving simulator performance without off-road events combined with a clinical history negative for excessive daytime sleepiness are at least risk of adverse driving events. Poor performance on the simulator, however, did not predict well accident history.
