This Fourier transform of the Kohlrausch function is now the compliance or susceptibility X″(ν) and not the modulus. The electric modulus M* introduced earlier is truly a modulus. Although the Fourier transform of the Kohlrausch function is used to fit the data in the two cases, the final expressions for X″(ν) and M*(ν) are distinctly different.
