The "primary" diode, SEL No. 152, was calibrated by NBS (now NIST) just six months prior to use with a quoted probable error of 6%. The second diode, EMR model 543P-09-00 was calibrated by NBS two years prior to use with a quoted probable error of 6%. Comparison of the two diodes showed agreement within 3%.
