31. For reasons of simplicity, we will work with a representative thermalization distance in this paper. Sometimes the most probable value b may be taken for it (see refs 5 and 7). The distribution of thermalization distances has been obtained in ref 28 by a Monte Carlo procedure in n-hexane. Similar calculations are in progress for other liquids.
