This is an interesting study that treated all 33 patients (nonmetastatic and metastatic) with surgery and adjuvant immunotherapy. Using this protocol, the investigators reported that surgical prognosis was influenced by lymph node status. The presence of synchronous pulmonary metastases, perinephric extension, or tumor level did not influence survival when treatment included surgery and immunotherapy for all metastatic and nonmetastatic patients.
