4. The 'spin-charge stripes' scenario has been proposed by Tranquada et al.5-7) to understand the elastic neutron scattering data in the Nd-doped LSCO around x ≈ 0.12. In this system, some charge density modulation with the wavevectors (±4πη, 0) and (0, ±4πη) is observed and accompanied by the incommensurate antiferromagnetic order with the wavevectors (π ± 2πη, π) and (π, π ± 2πη) at lower temperature.
