In reality, it must be considered that for a quantitative comparison the NOE intensity has to be divided by the number of equivalent protons, i.e., 12 and 2 for o/m and bipy protons, respectively. The intensity of the interionic interaction of the o and m protons becomes silar to that of protons H-4,4'.
